Demo exam in "Metal Forming"
using SIKE simulators

At Vyksa Metallurgical College named after A.A. Kozeradsky, a demo exam in 'Metal Forming' has been launched using SIKE simulators.

The students conducted calculations for the hot rolling process of metal in the roughing and finishing trains of the continuous hot strip mill.
Simulators used in the training of College students: 'Rolling in the roughing train of a continuous hot strip mill,' and “Rolling in the finishing train of a continuous hot strip mill” – allow future operators of the control station to learn how to configure the equipment of roughing and finishing trains (work roll opening, guide bars; cut-off of water descaling), its commissioning (stands, stand drives and roller tables) using control panels.
The photo shows a SIKE company simulator for training rolling mill operators.
Advantages of using SIKE simulators:
  • 1
    Maximum realistic simulation of exam conditions;
  • 2
    Possibility of individualized testing for each student;
  • 3
    Full automation of the process of preparing and conducting exams;
  • 4
    Analysis of results immediately after testing.
