3D courses as a tool for teaching safety when working with installations
New product line of SIKE 3D COURSES
3D Courses allow you to study the structure, operating principles, and safety rules for the most common production facilities and equipment: welding machines, gas cutters, gas cylinders, jacks, etc.
Introducing the new SIKE 3D COURSES product line!
Why is there a need for such a training system?
SIKE training systems have been used for more than 15 years to train specialists in industrial enterprises. We often receive requests for the development of specific solutions that could also find mass use for training specialists in sought-after professions: electricians, welders, gas cutters, installers, crane operators, etc.
But at the same time, our clients were looking for solutions that would combine visual clarity and functionality for interacting with three-dimensional objects, like 3D Atlases, and also provide the ability to use these solutions on various devices, including computers, tablets, and smartphones.
This is how the concept of a new training system was born, and later a solution was developed – SIKE 3D Courses.
3D Courses are a combination of best practices taken from simulators for studying the structure of equipment (3D Atlases) and the capabilities of e-courses.
So we took the best from fundamentally different products and created one that includes:
Visual design/arrangement of frequently used industrial objects based on 3D models.
For example welding machine, jack, gas cutter, freight car, gas cylinder, safety harness, etc.
Descriptions of the main elements, diagrams, and additional information on the correct and safe use of objects.
3D animations that demonstrate the operating principles of the most important elements of equipment.
At the same time, in some 3D courses, animation demonstrates the specifics of performing work, while observing safety precautions (for example, a freight car – holding a person). Also, 3D courses can include an animation of the process of assembly, connection, and start-up of any unit (for example, in the courses “Gas Cutter” and “Electric Welder”).
Tests on knowledge of the studied material
Testing knowledge of the studied material: structure, the purpose of the equipment and its elements, principles of operation, and rules of safe operation.
3D Course – a visual and effective tool
3D Courses are a tool for training specialists whose work is related to the operation of this equipment.
In addition, 3D Courses can be loaded into a distance learning system (DLS) as independent elements or as additions to existing courses, which significantly increases their value and effectiveness in the educational process.
Using 3D courses, it is also possible to effectively teach issues related to safe operation, which is an extremely important aspect when working with various units.
The following 3D courses are currently available:
4-point safety harness with belt
Gas cylinder
Freight car
Gas cutter
Jack
Welding machine for manual and mechanized electric arc welding
Hoist
Scaffold tower
