Severstal held an all-Russian competition for the best agglomerant using the SIKE platform and simulators

SIKE joined the organizing committee of the all-Russian competition in the profession "Agglomerant" and provided a platform for performing competitive tasks using the online simulator for the installation of mining and processing equipment "SIKE 3D Atlas".

On December 17, 2021, a competition for the profession "Agglomerant" was held among employees of PAO "Severstal", PAO "NLMK", PAO "MMK", AO "Tulachermet", EVRAZ "ZSMK". The organizer of the competition is PAO "Severstal". The interaction between organizers and contestants took place online on the Microsoft Teams platform.

Competitive tasks included three blocks:

1. Theoretical test on labor protection
2. Tasks on the SIKE platform (edu.sike.ru):

Theoretical test on the theory and technology of agglomeration.
Testing on the online simulator 3D Atlas "Design of mining and processing equipment" (Device of equipment for transportation and supply of bulk materials, device of dehydration and filtration equipment, device of crushing, screening and grinding equipment).

3. Logic and puzzle tasks, in which it was necessary to identify the encrypted word.

Points were awarded for each task, according to the results of the 1st and 2nd blocks, the "Best agglomerant" was determined, and Dmitry Anatolyevich Orlov (PAO "NLMK") became the winner. The results of the 3rd block did not affect the overall score, the best in tasks on logic were awarded incentive prizes.

The competition was dynamic. The participants noted that they liked the competition format, in which the theoretical tests were diluted with a practical part on 3D simulators for the equipment construction, tasks for logic, and puzzles.
